The Axee Bear Company exists to spotlight the rescues, volunteers, and animals working every day against puppy mills, overcrowded shelters, and the quiet crises — from backyard breeding to wild horse roundups — that rarely make the news.
Named for one dog. Built for every animal still waiting.
Rescued in 2013, Axel became a beloved member of our family. His presence taught us the importance of rescuing animals and giving them a loving family. When he passed a year ago, I decided to turn his legacy into a way to help other dogs in need.
The Axee Bear Company has multiple components that help us raise awareness for dogs in animal shelters across the country, as well as show people how to get involved with their local shelters and advocate for animals in need. Our main goal is to have people understand how important it is to advocate for these dogs.
Shelter dogs are not broken or damaged goods, but rather animals who are in need of a second chance. Be their second chance by adopting, fostering, advocating, and loving these beautiful animals. Axee's story could have been so different if he had not been rescued and advocated for. Help other dogs have a story like Axee's.
